New location for CPCC (formerly UTCC)

The CPCC was relocated from the University of Toronto to the University of Waterloo in August 2008.  We have hired a new Technical Curator, Heather Roshon to work with Judy Acreman, who is now serving as Manager of the CPCC on a part time basis. We are in a transition phase but will do our best to serve you as promptly as possible. Please allow 8-10 business days from the time we receive your order until the cultures are shipped. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Changes in research directions and space allocations at University of Toronto were some of the factors behind the relocation. The facility is now housed in the Department of Biology where two of our Advisory Committee members, Dr. Kirsten Muller and Dr. Raph Smith are on the faculty and where aquatic biology and phycology are strong components of the research and teaching program. At University of Waterloo, the CPCC will be able to play a stronger role in training graduate and undergraduate students and will benefit from the synergy of working with a group of faculty and students whose specialization is aquatic biology and phycology.
